Life is full of ups and downs, disappointments, tragedies and so many other factors that can lead one into having a life without direction or into leaving a sad life because they have not planned how they want their life to be.
If you want to improve your life, you must commit to designing the lifestyle you want to leave.
Here are some steps to take to improve and reinvent your life
1. Envision
Take some time to envision what your ideal life would look like. Here is what to look into;
A. Think about your current lifestyle.
*where are you now?
*what do you like or disliked
*what do you like and appreciate about your current lifestyle.
This is very important because, it is from answering this question, what you are going to find out if whether you are happy with your current lifestyle or not.
B. Describe an ideal future of your life
*where so you won't be in two years?
*where do you want to be in five years?
*How would you like to feel?
Every day take some time to visualise where you want to be and remind your self about your goals. This is very helpful for days where you don't feel motivated. Do this before you sleep.
Once you have set out all the goals you want for your self and envisioned where you want to be, move on to the next step.
2. Planning how to take action
We tend to daydream a lot about our ideal lifestyle without making an actual plan on how are we even going to get there. Sometimes we are so goal-oriented that we do not create a system to make improvements.
In this step, you need to get a concrete plan that you will commit to. It is very important to start with all steps. For each of your goals, you need to write something actionable that you can include into your daily routine. Bear in mind that, it should be easy enough for you to stick to it.
The question you need to ask your self is, " what are the small steps that I can take every day to get to where I want to be?"
One of the reasons, why we fail to get to where we want to be, is that we remain in a stage of planning and envisioning but we do not take action.
3. Take action
Although it is important to have a plan to follow, it is equally as important to get into action for things to start improving. One thing we must always keep in mind is that we can not expect different results if we keep doing the same thing. For something to change we need to do something differently.
You can get the life that you want as long as you have planned it out. You need to learn new habits that will help you to achieve the life that you want. Habits are so easy when they don't have to rely on your will power.
