No matter how fun a relationship is, there will come a time where things get so sour that both of y'all can't handle it and decides to break-up, thus becoming exes. How things stay between the two of you is dependent on how the relationship ended or the kind of a person you guys are.
The subject of exes can be quite complicated. We have all reacted differently from our break-ups depending on how we feel about the person we are breaking-up with. Some exes are bitter and hateful whilst other exes and loving and caring.
Here is a list of different kinds of axes that you might be, or might have encountered already.
1. The quick healer ex
This kind of exes will stress the F out of you. They can move on within a space of a weak or a month and leave you all hurt and struggling to heal. These exes are either friendly or bitter depending on their personalities. Some of them might even rub their new relationships in your face, thus making it even harder for you to move on.
2. The drunk texter
These one's are annoying. They only remember you when they are drunk. They will tell you how much they miss you and how they are still in love with you. However, you will never hear from them until they are drunk again.
3. The stalker
This kind of exes are always creeping on your social media. They know everything that you are doing, where you are, who you are with, and who you are dating. They see you but you don't see them.
4. The boomerang
You know that one ex that keeps on coming back. He/she can be annoying or not. It's hard to forget about them because they are somehow still in your life. Whenever you try to move on, or try to forget about them, they mysteriously emerge back into your life.
5. The F buddy
These are those exes you are still friends with. More like friends with benefits. Yes y'all broke up, but you still shanging each other every now and then.
6. The one you show off
We all have that one ex that we are so proud that we dated. We want everyone to know that we dated them. Yes, you guys broke up, but you can't help but brag.
7. The one you are embarrassed about
You can't believe that you dated them, and you wouldn't dare tell people about your past relationship with them. You always make sure that you never pump into them. When you see them in public, you make sure that they don't see you.
8. The Popeye
These exes are also annoying. Even after breaking up with them, they will still avail themselves to you to hurd them again. They don't see the red flags even after the breakup. They blame themselves for the failed relationships even thorough they didn't do anything wrong. They don't want to move on, they will still date you even if they caught you cheating red-handed
Relationships are not easy and so are break-ups. The dating game is not for the faint-hearted. This game can make or break you, depending on the level of your emotional intelligence. I bet we have all had our fair share of break-ups. Some of these break-ups
are nasty and hard to take, some are cool and we don't care. Depending on how our relationships ended, we tend to behave in a certain way, or our exes tend to behave in a certain way. I really hope that you are not the Popeye or the stalker ex.
After a break-up, just move one with pride. Allow yourself to heal, then go date again.
