Shopping for jeans that will effortlessly look good on your banging body can be stressful and daunting, especially if you don't know/understand your body type. Personally, when I shop for jeans, I look for jeans that will make my waist look small and my butt a little bit bigger, and I am certain that this is what everyone is looking for in jeans.
if you have been having a problem with finding jeans that will complement your body, no matter your body size and shape, don't despair, this post is definitely for you.
First, you need to know your body type/shape
Shape 1,3, and 4, look good in lower rise jeans. Low-rise jeans emphasize the hips and create curves. Shape 2,5,6 and 7 look great in high waist jeans.
What to know about colors
Darker colors on jeans, make them appear small and light colors make them appear to be big. Jeans that have a light wash will make you appear twice as your natural appearance. For instance, if you are thin and tall, these kinds of jeans will make you appear tall and much thinner and vise versa. Again, jeans that are highlighted at the butt area will make your butt appear to be small.
The crotch
Avoid buying jeans that have a huge space between the crotch and the end of the zipper. With this kind of jeans, you will get a camel toe and will draw attention to you.
The perfect butt
•Jeans with pockets that are big and far apart from each other will make your butt look smaller while jeans with small pockets that are close to each other will make your hips look less wide
• A huge space between the end of the pocket and the but crease will make your butt look big.
•Jeans with less space between the end of the pocket and the but crease, lift your butt in a natural-looking way
•Jeans that don't have space between the end of the pocket and the butt crease look terrible on everyone. They fit so poorly and create a muffin top which is something we all don't want.
Fit hack
When shopping for your new jeans and you are lazy to fit them at the store, just wrap the waist of the jeans around your neck; if there is extra space left, then the jeans won't fit you, and if you can't get the jeans to touch your neck, then the jeans are going to be very tight on your waist.
One other thing we all need to be aware of is that some jeans are just not for our body types, and of course this is regarding the design of the jean.
Have a good one, and I will see you on my next post😘
